Sarah is Happy
Evie and I went to get our pictures taken as a surprise for Father's Day (I can post them because Jake doesn't read my blog). If you would like to see the rest of them, please feel free to check out my Photobucket. I will have the remainder of them posted soon.
Jake started his classes last week and really seems to be enjoying them. I am so proud of him! Because he has night class, I have been able to spend more one-on-one time with Evelyn, and I absolutely love it. She has kept us very busy...she looooooves to flip through books and put together puzzles. She is truly changing every day, and she is no longer the baby with the chunky monkey legs.
I hardly know what to do with myself now that I no longer have classes, so I have been reading quite a bit. I am almost half-way finished with the book I started on Friday. I have started a list of books I would like to finish over the summer before the wedding. Any suggestions?
The bridal shower is this Saturday, June 19th, and I am delighted to see all of my family. It's been a while since I have seen them all together, so it will be a lot of fun. Relay for Life is also the night of June 19th. So far, our team has raised 78% of our goal and I myself have raised 40% of my goal. Sunday is Father's Day. Jake requested French toast and bacon, which I thought would be easy enough to accomplish.
I am really looking forward to not only this weekend but the remainder of the summer. I plan to swim, take Evie to the zoo, and spend plenty of time with friends and family in addition to finishing my reading list. The summer will end the best way possible--marrying the man I love. I am one blessed woman, let me tell you. :)
Have a wonderful week, everyone!
PS I forgot to mention one thing...Evie has figured out how to pick her nose. She will be one classy lady!
