Where do I start? Where do I begin?
Listening to some Chemical Brothers. I was looking for something inspirational to listen to while I blogged but instead settled for some of Jake's random music uploaded to iTunes...this song just repeats these two questions over and over again, so it seemed appropriate for what I am writing.
I appreciate everyone's "things that worked for me." I love suggestions! MD even went so far as to get me a free one-week pass to Fit Club, which I have yet to utilize (have no fear--I will soon!).
Part one of the getting healthy plan: exercise.
Work consists of walking, walking, and more walking, which is great, but I am going to start working out soon. I want to have fun while I'm working out, and to begin, I have made an awesome iPod workout playlist. All I need to do now is make it to the gym!
Part two of the getting healthy plan: eat less junk and work yummy healthy food into my diet.
Panera is the devil when it comes to all the sweets!!!!!!!!!!!! I have little willpower so I am working to improve that. I don't want to go cold turkey on the sweets, but I think that it is the only way I will make it out of my job without weight 300 pounds. No sweets. Sigh.
I have already limited myself to one Diet Pepsi a day. Most people wouldn't think that this would be such a struggle, but bad eating/drinking habits are hard to kick. I was able to quit smoking cold turkey, but my DP? I really need to give that up? GGGGGGGGGGGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Salads, yogurt, and fruit are fabulous, and I am enjoying all of them, both at work and at home. I have been looking for some new recipes. Any one have any awesome recipes they would like to share with me?
