I think I can, I think I can...
My seesters, Jessie and Rachel, and I have committed to doing a half-marathon in April. That's right, folks. I am finally taking the plunge with two of my favorite women. This week has put me off-kilter due to the weather, but I have still managed to get some running in.
I have to get real with myself or I will never succeed. I don't give up on anything...except when it comes to my eating and exercising habits. I don't want to lie to myself about it anymore. This past month has been awful...I ate way too much and didn't exercise enough and now my pants are tighter than they need to be. I don't plan on beating myself up for it, but I won't forget it either.
Time to move forward.
I am incredibly blessed to have such a strong support network. More people read my blog and Facebook than I originally thought...people approach me in public and at work who I haven't spoken to in a long time: telling me that I am an inspiration; I look great; and I need to keep up the hard work. I will remain humble about it all because I will still have months like this past one where my weight goes back up some, but it is wonderful to hear words of encouragement from unexpected sources.
I would like to take a moment to thank all of you who have encouraged and helped me get to where I am currently. And another thank you to all of you who continually encourage me to do better by my body. Here is to pushing myself further and getting the results I want to achieve!
Love,
Sarah

Sarah I ran a half marathon and did it and was not some super runner and was a size 14 at the time. You can totally do it! I had freak outs when I was training and suppose to run 7 miles and only ran 4 but as long as you run consistently you will total get it done! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteOh and PS you look great! Keep up the hard work. We all backslide a bit but just get back into your good habits and it will only be a speck on the big journey!
