Bedknobs and Broomsticks

Our anniversary was a success! We had brunch at the Sunrise Cafe, devouring our favorite pancakes and bacon. Jake did have to work at Bergner's for a little while, and after he got off work, we went out to dinner just the two of us.

I love to spend time alone with the hubs, whether it's a quiet meal out or just snuggling during a movie. I am never as content as when I am with Jake. He makes me feel like all is as it should be, and this sense of peace gives me such contentment.

Yesterday Evelyn and celebrated Laurie's birthday with some shepherd's pie and German chocolate cake (little bit of Irish and German yumminess!). I think her favorite part of coming over was spending time with Miss Evelyn. They are best buddies, and Evie cannot wait to hang out with Grammy.

Evie and I had the apartment to ourselves tonight so we decided to go "shopping" after dinner just to get out of our small space. We bought some scrapbooking paper so that Ev and I can work on her scrapbooking skills. Yes, you better believe my 2-year-old has a scrapbook! She loves it!

We are finishing up a Disney classic right now, so here is a clip that always makes the little one laugh and some pictures she chose to share with you today!

Love,

Sarah and Evelyn
