Life Happens

Life comes in spurts!  I won't have anything going on for a long time then all of a sudden...WHAM!

LIFE HAPPENS.

I had my last day at our White Oaks café yesterday and begin the next phase of my Panera career at Dirksen.  I was not nearly as sad to leave this time as I was the first.  WO will always be my home café...it's where I started, where I began to change, and where I made my first Panera friends.  The move back was a stressful but necessary one as it showed what I am capable of as a leader and what to do (or not to do in some cases).  It's time to move on, and I am extremely proud of all that my new café has accomplished while I was away: training status!  I will now be able to spread my Panera knowledge with new managers as they begin their journey.  I mean, if that isn't exciting, I don't know what is!

Evelyn is getting bigger and more vocal as the months pass.  I enjoy having complete conversations about her day, which always include lots of smiles and giggles.  My daughter is one of the happiest people I know, and I am incredibly blessed to have my little munchkin!

She loves writing for us any chance she gets...above is her spelling of all of our names.  She also cannot get enough of Frozen.  We bought the movie last night and immediately watched it...eventually, she will get tired of it, and I will no longer have to listen to "Let It Go."  Until that day, I might have to purchase some earplugs.

Looking forward to our upcoming half-marathon on April 5 with Jessie, Rachel, Jessie, and Ginny.  I have been doing my distance, even if I haven't run all of it--the sciatica hurts me frequently but I am not giving up!  I will finish this bad boy whether or not I can run it.  My Irish stubbornness is really paying off the last couple of weeks, and I am grateful for the amazing weather to run in.  :)

Have a marvelous week, everyone!
